Thrombus
Thrombus, AKA blood clot, can be classified into red, white, or mixed.[1][2]
- Red thrombus: erythrocytes and fibrin; responds well to thrombolytics.
- White thrombus: cell debris, fibrin, and platelets; few erythrocytes; resistant to thrombolytics.
