  2. Never lie or guess.
  3. Go examine the patient.

  7. See as many consults as possible.
  8. Scrub in as many cases as possible.
  9. Read, read, and read.
  10. Be a team player.
  11. Always review the case before going to the OR. Know all the details.
  12. Treat everybody with respect.
