The posterior communicating (PCOM) artery aneurysms are reported to be the 2nd most common location of intracranial aneurysms.[1] They are often associated with a higher risk of rupturing.[2][3]

This patient presented with a 3 mm aneurysm in the right fetal PCOM, originating from the PCOM artery itself (not the ICA). This aneurysm was coiled using one 3 mm x 10 cm Target Tetra coil with an excellent result.
